Sai Baba of Shirdi is symbol of compassion and brotherhood for millions of Indians.

12 kms from Godawari in the villge of Shirdi Sai Baba lived by the side of  a Neem tree. He was first seen under the Neem tree at the age of 16. " He would say, I have no name, nor do I have a home.I live in Shirdi and I live all around the universe." It is not known to which religion he belonged to. He would say "I am a human being and that is my religion."

He was indeed a great human soul. His compassion knew no bounds and people came to him from all classes, cultural and religious backgrounds and felt at home at his feet.

Dr Lavanya was a great devotee of Baba. She also used to say "I am a human being and that is my religion".
